Do I have to be a union member to come to meetings?
Any one can come to meetings- you will not be able to make any motions, or vote during the meeting process, but you can listen, and find out what we are all about.  The union encourages EVERY Bargaining unit member to come to as many meetings as possible.
IF you like what you see and want to have a say---then maybe you will join.

How much are dues, and did they increase this year?

Dues are $14.30 every pay period.  That is about $1.43 every work day. We did not increase dues this year. The local can absorb any extra costs with the balance in our treasury.

Are we still having a membership drive?

YES!!! If you are a current dues payer, and you sign up a new member, you will get $20.00.  Just turn the blue card into your steward!!!  Make sure you put referred by ---and your name on the card.
