Executive Board Meeting for February 3, 2009

Meeting called to order at 5:43pm by President Mark Steiner

Mark announced the first Contract Negotiation Meeting will be held on Monday February 9 at 1:00pm. This meeting will set the ground rules. Mark Steiner, Cathy Knepper & Russ Dugan will be the three team members and Irwin Sharfeld will be the Chief Negotiator. Sue Monroe & John Gardella will be the alternates.
We are going to send a survey to all dues paying members. There are 80 members. Need them to return survey to Executive Board Members or by mail within five days.
Discussion of Task Force and we need Solid Waste to help with the Task Force.
Bill is doing a City Organizational Chart.
Bill is going to be in charge of all bulletin boards. He will post and check to make sure bulletin boards are cleaned of old memos or things that don't belong.
Tracy Brock's letter & check were returned with no forwarding address. We will ask around if anyone knows how to contact her.
Treasurers Report: 12/31/09 $3, 332.75
79 members plus 1 new member= 80 members
A Labor Management Meeting was held on January 20. Mark, Cathy & Irwin attended.
We need a special meeting February 25 to look at surveys and work on negotiations.
Our next Executive Board Meeting is March 3, 2009 at 5:00pm at the Norris Center.
Our next Membership Meeting is March 10, 2009 at the Norris Center 5:00pm meet & greet and meeting starting at 5:30pm.
