City will continue to pay the 95 5 and 85 15 split--- the premium is going up 23%
$500,000 the City kicked in for last years shortfall
Bill Scott has done a lot of work on a program to show with your pay what the difference is going to make.
Shows all of the contributions and what they are going up. Basically the City is pulling their weight on this.

Mark introduced Irwin Scharfeld, Council 79 Rep and Irwin explained The Executive Board meeting with HR and considering the increase in Health Insurance premiums and setting up the Membership meeting with the membership.
A health assessment program is on CIGNA website.
City is promoting flue shots, no smoking, and exercise.
Discussion about upcoming meeting on the 24rd at Norris Center. Executive board has appointed stewards. A poster will be made with names and phone numbers. Steward training is scheduled for November 6th at 5:00 at the Norris Center. Cathy will lead the session. Everyone is invited.
